CIO Founder

The TRC team is led by Chief Investment Officer and Portfolio Manager Sebastian Hoppe. Mr. Hoppe brings over 30 years of credit and managerial experience to TRC. Mr. Hoppe uses his wealth of knowledge to direct investment strategy and client service.

Mr. Hoppe has extensive experience in the private wealth management space where he advised family offices, endowments, and foundations. Prior to wealth management, Mr. Hoppe worked extensively in the credit space in his time at Drexel Burnham and Canyon Partners where he led credit-focused teams and managed special situation bond portfolios in excess of $1bn.

Mr. Hoppe graduated from Harvard Law School and Harvard Business School with a JD/MBA and graduated from UC Berkeley summa cum laudewith a B.A. in Economics. Mr. Hoppe holds Series 7, 63, 65, 79 licenses.

As CEO of Cadiz Collaboration, Lorraine has more than 20 years of trend-setting brand development experience. She works together with her clients to conceive, plan and execute distinguished hotels, corporate branding to produce enduring designs.

Advisory Board

Mr. Stroyman is an entrepreneur with an institutional background in investing, corporate finance, new venture formation, and business operations. He worked as an investment principal at Canyon Capital and Blackrock and has been involved in the acquisition, sale, and repositioning of over $15 billion of companies, and real estate throughout the U.S. with a concentration in opportunistic, value-add, and distressed debt investments.

A graduate with honors from the University of California, Berkeley (BA) and Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management (MBA), Mr. Stroyman walked on to the Cal tennis team, was a four-year starter and was elected captain his senior year. He helped the team reach the NCAA Final Four in that year, and then competed briefly as a professional tennis player achieving singles and doubles ATP world rankings.

Mr. Stroyman is a member of the Young Presidents Organization (YPO) and serves on the Board of Trustees for KraneShares, an asset management firm that develops and sells China-focused ETFs.
